The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held at its headquarters in Riyadh, on Wednesday 10/8/2022, August 10, 2022, a presentation titled: Resilience in the Face of Terrorism and Extremism Via Emotional intelligence, delivered by Lebanese media expert, Tarek Abou Zeinab, and attended by IMCTC Secretary-General, member countries' delegates and IMCTC personnel.

In his presentation, Mr. Abou Zeinab touched on how to take advantage of media to control human behavioral change, and the impact of social media platforms on emotional intelligence and its role in stereotyping by recipients. He also emphasizes the role of emotional intelligence in the media through politicizing minds either towards moderation or extremism and violence, depending on targeted messages.
