The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held at its Headquarters in Riyadh, on Wednesday 28/09/2022, a presentation on “Identifying and Mitigating Cybersecurity Risks in Concert with Governance, Compliance and Risk Management Efforts (GRC)”, delivered by Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Dammas, a cybersecurity expert, and attended by IMCTC Secretary-General, member countries' delegates and IMCTC personnel.
Dr. Al-Dammas discussed the aspects of cybersecurity risks and the role of governance, compliance and risk management in mitigating its risk. He also touched on the importance of an integrated cybersecurity ecosystem in achieving its desired goal of maintaining the organization’s databases and digital data and preventing cyber-attacks launched by ordinary hackers or criminal organizations.
It is worth noting that the presentation is a part of awareness programs that are designed to update and raise awareness of the delegates of member countries in the field of cybersecurity.
