The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition received, on Monday, May 29, 2023, Gen. Habib Al-Dhif, Director General of the Defense and Security Intelligence agency in the Republic of Tunisia, and the accompanying delegation. The delegation was received by Maj. Gen. Abdullah bin Hamed Al-Qurashi, IMCTC Military Commander's Assistant and Member States' Delegates.

Over the course of the visit, Gen. Al-Dhif received a briefing on IMCTC's counter-terrorism efforts across its four domains, namely, ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military, as well as its role in coordinating and activating its member states' counterterrorism efforts.

Meanwhile, the delegation toured IMCTC HQ and got acquainted with the latest developments and updates regarding terrorist incidents and groups around the world and IMCTC's role in keeping a close eye on these developments. 

For his part, Gen. Al-Dhif commended IMCTC's efforts in countering the scourge of terrorism and its strategic approach to counter extremist groups based on its four-counterterrorism domains.​
