As part of the series of programs and presentations organized by the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), IMCTC held a presentation entitled "Institutional Integration in Violent Extremism Prevention Programs" on Monday, March 1, 2021, at its headquarter in Riyadh, which was presented by Dr. Mohammed bin Humaid Al-Thagafy, chairman of the Global Experience Center for Studies, Consultation and Training, under the patronage of IMCTC Secretary-General and the presence of IMCTC member countries' delegates and IMCTC personnel.
In the presentation, Dr. Al-Thagafy highlighted the concepts related to violent extremism and rehabilitation programs and skills that contribute to the integration of the prevention of violent extremism. Moreover, he stressed the need for international solidarity to confront terrorism, noting that individual efforts are insufficient due to violent extremism's international characteristics.
