The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held a presentation entitled “Cyberattacks and Their Methods”, on Tuesday, 7 April 2021, at its headquarters in Riyadh. The presentation was presented by Dr. Sultan bin Dawood Al-Farhood, Cyber Security Assistant Professor at King Saud University, under the patronage of IMCTC Acting Secretary– General and in the presence of IMCTC member countries delegates and IMCTC personnel.

During the presentation, Dr. Al-Farhood highlighted the dangers of widely spread malicious hacks on smart phones and portable devices and the necessity to deal with websites and networks very carefully. Affirming the need to use various protection mechanisms, Dr. Al-Farhood also emphasized the tremendous development and spread of malicious software and tools used to hack information among phones and portable devices to achieve detrimental goals.

It is noteworthy that the presentation comes as a part of the series of presentations, symposia and workshops organized by IMCTC for IMCTC member countries delegates, in cooperation with scholarly, intellectual, military and media competencies from various entities.​
