Maj. Gen. Mohammed Saeed Al-Moghedi, IMCTC Secretary-General, received Her Excellency Deputy President of the French-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Amal Amelia Lakrafi, and her accompanying delegation at the IMCTC Center in Riyadh. While welcoming the visiting delegation, IMCTC Secretary-General highlighted the importance of the efforts made by France in countering terrorism.
During the bilateral meeting, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi shed light on the key goals and initiatives of IMCTC, in addition to the accomplishments recognized by IMCTC in combating and countering terrorism through joint efforts among the member countries of IMCTC. In the same vein, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi also underscored that France is one of the key players in countering terrorism and combating violent extremism across the region and among the countries that support the IMCTC, stressing at the same time the importance of joint cooperation and the exchange of experiences and expertise between the two sides.
For her part, Amal Amelia Lakrafi expressed her appreciation for the impressive efforts made by IMCTC in countering terrorism and combating the ideology of extremist organizations, while also intensifying the efforts of the forty-one member countries of IMCTC in the international war on terrorism.
