The Secretary-General of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), Maj. Gen.  Mohammed Bin Saeed Al-Moghedi received the Secretary-General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), His Excellency Dr. Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Uthaymeen, on Thursday, 9th January 2020, at the IMCTC headquarters in Riyadh. After reviewing avenues of cooperation, shared visions and strengthening mutual relationships, both sides signed a memorandum of joint cooperation which covers several joint initiatives and training programs as well as sharing reports and studies of common interest in countering terrorism and violent extremism.
 
Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi stressed that signing the memorandum aims to promote integration and strategic partnership between the IMCTC and OIC in order to achieve further cooperation, coordination, and integration between both sides in various areas relevant to their respective work.
 
IMCTC Secretary-General pointed out that this agreement comes within the framework of cooperation between the IMCTC and local, Islamic and international centers, authorities and organizations to coordinate, collaborate and multiply efforts made in countering terrorism and violent extremism.
