Within the framework of programs and activities implemented by the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), the IMCTC Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi launched on Thursday, 21 January 2021, the IMCTC's Annual Program of Activities for 2021, with the presence of member countries’ delegates and IMCTC personnel.
Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi pointed out that these programs include a number of activities, symposia and training courses across IMCTC four domains of action (Ideology, Communications, Counter Terrorist Financing and Military) which would contribute directly or indirectly in countering terrorism and violent extremism.
Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi also stressed that IMCTC represents an integrated system that seeks to enhance cooperation among its member countries. Based on values of legitimacy, independence, coordination and participation, IMCTC endeavors to ensure that all member countries’ counterterrorism actions and efforts conform to international regulations, norms and laws.
