Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), welcomed on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, Lt. Gen. Sir John Lorimer, UK's Defence Senior Adviser to MENA and his accompanying delegation, at IMCTC headquarters in Riyadh. 

Lt. Gen. Sir John Lorimer was provided with an overview of IMCTC’s objectives, initiatives as well as its achievements in counterterrorism on ideology, communications, countering terrorist financing and military domains.  The IMCTC Secretary-General stressed the importance of joint military cooperation, exchange of experiences and expertise between both sides in the area of countering terrorism and violent extremism. 

For his part, Lt. Gen. Sir Lorimer commended IMCTC Center’s efforts and role in counterterrorism. 

IMCTC is a 41-member alliance where its members work together through coordinating and redoubling their efforts in the global war on violent extremism and terrorism and joining other international efforts aimed at preserving international peace and security.
