 Riyadh, June 2, 2021
Within the framework of joint cooperation between the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) and King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS), a memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation was signed today, June 2, 2021, between IMCTC, represented by the IMCTC Acting Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, and KFCRIS represented by the KFCRIS Acting Secretary-General H.E. Prof. Dr. Turki bin Muhammad Al-shuwaier.
Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi stressed that signing this memorandum comes within the framework of enhancing the strategic partnership between IMCTC and KFCRIS, embodying the leading local, regional, and international role both sides play in countering violent extremism, terrorism, and its financing and promoting their joint vision.
It is worth noting that IMCTC comprises forty-one member countries working together to coordinate and multiply their efforts in the global fight against terrorism and violent extremism and to join other international security and peacekeeping efforts.
