On Thursday 08/06/2023, IMCTC received a multinational delegation from Tanzania's National Defense College. The Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi received the visiting delegation,

The delegation was briefed on IMCTC's mission, objectives and initiatives across its four counter-terrorism domains, namely ideology, communications, counter-terrorism financing, and military. The delegation was also familiarized with IMCTC's monitoring and information analysis tools used to track terrorist groups and organizations around the world.

In an answer to some of the delegation's questions; the Secretary-General pointed out that IMCTC functions in accordance with international legal frameworks and implements its strategic initiatives in line with the sovereignty of its member countries. He further added that IMCTC's counter-terrorism strategy was born out of a well-thought-out methodology rooted in the most up to date methods and approaches in this regard. He concluded his remarks by adding that every terrorist act or extremist ideology is born out of a malicious agenda that is intent on wreaking havoc and destruction.
