The UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, HE, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Bowardi received today, Wed. Nov. 15, 2023, in Dubai, the Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counterterrorism Coalition., Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi.  During the meeting both sides explored areas of common cooperation, shared perspectives, and deepening ties to achieve the desired objectives in the war on terrorism. 

Meanwhile, both sides also discussed the latest developments regarding IMCTC's initiatives. Maj. Gen. commended the efforts of the UAE, as an IMCTC member state, and its expertise in countering terrorism and violent extremism.

The visit is part of IMCTC's efforts to forge strategic partnerships with member countries, supporting nations and international organizations and to strengthen the relationships, ongoing cooperation with all countries for the purpose of capacity-building, exchange of best practices, information sharing in counterterrorism and joining other international efforts aimed at preserving international peace and security.​
