​​The Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi received the Chief of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Republic, Maj: Gen. Ruslan Mukambetov, and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the Chief of General Staff of Kyrgyz Republic, received a briefing on IMCTC's key actions, strategic initiatives, and means to coordinate and unify member states' efforts in a manner that serves the Muslim world and international community to counter the scourge of terrorism. Further, the briefing also covered IMCTC's latest reports, statistics, and monitoring of terrorist groups and organizations around the world.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Mukambetov, commended IMCTC's counter-terrorism approach and its strategic initiatives in partnerships with international organizations, and highlighted IMCTC's efforts across counterterrorism domains that directly support its member states and friendly countries in eradicating the scourge of terrorism. 

Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Al-Moghedi pointed out that IMCTC follows an overarching and integrated approach in collaboration with relevant entities when it comes to countering terrorism across the ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing, and military domains. He further added that collaboration and collective action will speed up the elimination of terrorism and its criminal agenda.​
