​​​​The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition announced the arrival of the delegate of the Republic of Guinea, navy CAPT. Oumar Bokoum, to IMCTC.

The Secretary General of IMCTC, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, pointed out that the arrival of the delegate of the Republic of Guinea to IMCTC to work closely together with his fellow Member States' delegates is a positive and a welcome step by the government of the Republic of Guinea cognizant of the importance of international cooperation of countering terrorism and rejection of extremism. He further wished the delegate of the Republic of Guinea every success in carrying out his duties and highlighted the great role assigned to Member States' Delegates in advancing IMCTC's counterterrorism strategic initiatives.

It is worth noting that IMCTC comprises 42 Member States that work together to coordinate, consolidate, and step-up counterterrorism efforts across ideology, communications, counter-terrorism financing, and military domains efficiently and effectively in partnership with likeminded countries and international counterterrorism organizations.​
