The Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, received at IMCTC headquarters in Riyadh, a delegation of recently appointed Saudi ambassadors to a number of countries.
The visiting ambassadors received a detailed briefing on IMCTC's efforts in countering terrorism, extremist ideology, coordination of member countries' efforts to counter terrorist narrative through ideology, communications, counter-terrorist financing and military initiatives. The briefing also covered the coordination, stepping up of its member states' efforts across these areas, as well as the latest developments, updates on terrorist groups, incidents around the world, and IMCTC's role in closely monitoring such activities.
It is noteworthy that this visit comes within the framework of strengthening IMCTC's international relations and intensify international efforts across counter-terrorism domains.
