A delegation from the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition(IMCTC) headed by its Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, visited, Wed. Jan. 26, 2022, the headquarters of the National Counter-Terrorism Center in Malé, Republic of Maldives, was received by NCTC’s Director General, Brig. Gen. Zakariyya Mansoor.
Over the course of the visit, the delegation received a detailed briefing on NCTC’s counterterrorism efforts and discussed avenues of joint cooperation and strengthening the relationship in counterterrorism domain.
The visit comes as part of IMCTC’s efforts to build strategic partnerships between member countries, supporting nations and international organizations/centers, as well as deepening the ties and ongoing collaboration with the rest of other countries for capacity-building, sharing information, experiences and international best practices in counterterrorism and joining other international efforts aimed at maintaining international peace and security.
