Riyadh, August 22, 2023, SPA -- Acting Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), Major General Mohammad bin Saeed Al-Moghedi received the Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah and his accompanying delegation.
The two officials discussed the fight against terrorism and IMCTC's strategic initiatives in intellectual and media fields, terrorism financing, and military affairs.
The Malaysian Ambassador and his accompanying delegation toured the IMCTC headquarters and were briefed on IMCTC's major studies, research and strategic initiatives in combating terrorism. They were also briefed on the latest developments on terrorism worldwide and IMCTC's monitoring mechanisms.
The Malaysian Ambassador highlighted that IMCTC's acts regarding fighting terrorism in all its forms clearly show how vital this action is for all IMCTC countries.
Al-Moghedi noted that IMCTC works based on a clear vision and strategic foundations supported by the IMCTC countries to fight anything that could incite violence and extremism. He also highlighted the critical role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by providing unlimited support to the IMCTC.
